   Hi Ken, I don’t have a Twitter account but I wanted to toss out an idea for 25 years of Ravens shows for you and someone to discuss.

   – What if Rice? An examination of missing out on Ray Rice and Gary Kubiak coming together in 2014. I still think about what Ray Rice could have did in that Shanahan/Kubiak rushing system that took the Ravens from 30th in rushing to Top 10 the next year.

   – Kubiak had numerous top rushing attacks, as OC in Denver, with numerous RBs going for 1k+ yards: T.Davis, O.Gary, M.Anderson, C.Portia, T.Bell.
   – Moved on as HC of Texans 1k rushers included Steve Slaton, Arian Foster,

   Full circle 2013 Kubiak is fired by the Texans. Ray Rice is coming off a career worse year only 214 carries , 660 yards, 3.1 ypc and the Ravens as a team were ranked 30th in the league in rushing.
   Enter Kubiak to reshape this rushing attack and reinvigorate Ray Rice. We all know the elevator incident happened and ended Ray Rice’s career which then led to the start of Ravens Dead Money Salary cap Hell.

   But based on journeyman Justin Forsett’s unforeseen production 235 carries 1266 Yds, 5.4 ypc Rest of his career is 585 carries for 4.49 ypc
   Ray Rice had been averaging 4.53 ypc on 1216 carries prior to the disastrous 2013 year. I often wondered just how big of year Ray Rice might have had under Kubiak and what kind of magic we missed out on.

   I wish I had some PFF or ESPN special stats to show just how special & unbelievable Forsett’s season was and how that could be turned into Rice’s expected production but I don’t lol.

   Anyway I think that would be a cool topic because I’m sure I’m not the only fan that goes what if to that 2014 season and Rice.
